APAN48 – Fellowship Program

Dear APAN Community,

We are pleased to announce that the APAN48 Fellowship Program is now open for applications. The 48th APAN Meeting will be held from 22^nd to 26^th July 2019 at the UPM White House, Serdang, Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Students (graduates and undergraduates) are encouraged to apply for fellowships although other young researchers may also be considered. Applicants who are making presentations will have favoured status. Please note that you’ll have to contact the Chairs/Coordinators of sessions where you wish to make a presentation.

The Fellowship Program fund covers the following:

1. Registration Fee: Access to All Sessions/Workshops/Tutorials
2. Food: Lunch and Tea (During Conference) and Dinner when there are social events
3. Local transportation: Transport Allowance (if applicable) (From International Airport to the accommodation site and vice versa)
4. Accommodation on twin sharing basis during APAN48 (Venue will be notified later)

Please choose “with accommodation” in the application form, if you wish to accept the accommodation provided by APAN. You may also arrange your own accommodation at your own cost.

Please note that the applicants must ensure the availability of their airfare before applying, as airfare is NOT covered under the fellowship. You are required to provide a letter of  proof for the support for airfare. In cases where you bear the airfare personally, you may be required to provide a confirmed itinerary at the time of acceptance of the Fellowship.

Except for the occasions of APAN social events, the fellows are expected to make arrangements to meet their dinner expenses on their own.

The application deadline is Sunday, 05^th May 2019. The online application submission link will not be available after the deadline.
